Meet Our Staff

CHRIS CORCORAN

We are pleased to introduce Chris Corcoran, one of our newest members to the SSS staff.  Chris has been an excellent asset to our team.  He brings experience from both the collegiate and professional level.  Chris Corcoran returned for a third season with the Charleston Battery after starting 31 games in 2007, mostly as a wide defender.  Corcoran was also used in a defensive midfield position and his Charleston career totals now include 52 games played with 1 assist.   Originally drafted by Major League soccer's MetroStars in 2005, Corcoran, was a stand-out at St. John's University before turning professional.  He played 75 games, starting 72 times and finishing with 12 goals and 11 assists, for 35 points.  A native of Weymouth, Massachusetts, Corcoran was a member of the PDL Cape Cod Crusaders in 2002 and the Brooklyn Knights in 2003.

Chris Corcoran is a trainer for the SSS program with James Island Youth Soccer Club and will be assisting with the summer youth programs.
